FAVORITE FLIX
A NEW Traveling Exhibition

The Society of Illustrators is pleased to offer an exhibition to your gallery. The subject is one that is sure to evoke a response from your visitors...How could it not...Who doesn’t have a “Favorite Flix”

Over 60 illustrators have lent their talents to this great experiment. The outcome of this project determines, once and for all, whether there is indeed such a thing a s a guy film as opposed to a girl film. Half the artists are gents and the other half are of the feminine persuasion. They have been asked to illustrate a scene (actual or imagined) from their all time, #1 favorite motion picture. The illustrators have put their own spin on that instant of celluloid magic that continues to resonate in their personal theater of the mind. So-no talking please, stock up your Milk Duds, get ready to get those Jujubes unstuck from your rear molars, and enjoy the show.

A videotape of the exhibition is available for your review as is a set of slides of the works.

Bookings are for 3-4 weeks at a rental of $1000. The art is air-shipped in 3 crates (450 lbs.) and billed to the host schools at cost (estimate is $250). All works are framed 14x 21 with plexiglass.

The Society looks forward to having this show at your school. The potential for
cross-promotion with local theaters and movie clubs is obvious. Local publicity should also be an easy pitch. If you have questions, please give the Society a call.
